Has anyone created a Sound capable of playing sound fonts?

Why bother? My reasoning is that it would be a cheap and cheerful way of having a pretty full sound set on the Kyma system. One could try out midi files....algorithmic music generation algorithms....ztar layouts...whatever with some approximately appropiate sounds and if and when you hear what you want, refine the actual sounds you use.

It would enable you to try out a composition for clarinet"ish" type sounds before splashing out time or money on an expensive orchestral wind instrument giga sample CD or algorithm for creating a wonderful reedy sound.

Just an idea.
