![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, Does anybody here maybe have some experience in using the position of the mouse (x/y-coordinates) to control audio? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Logic Audio has a Vector object available in the Logic environment which you could use to output MIDI into Kyma via a mouse. The MIDI values from the Vector are scaled so that no matter the size of the Vector object - the full range of 0 - 127 is available. ![]() ![]() ![]() There are several mouse-to-MIDI programs. You might take a look at: http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/audio/mousemod.htm and http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Network/4957/midimouse.html and http://www.sonicspot.com/ccmouse/ccmouse.html I've used one of these (I can't recall which) with good results. But what I REALLY like is to use my Palm's touchscreen as an X-Y MIDI CC. Palm to MIDI adapters are fairly inexpensive (mine was $30 USD). I use two Palm programs, Meedy and Theremidi, which are basically X-Y controllers. I can find used Palms quite cheaply, too, say $50-30 USD. And you can use multiple Palms for multiple simultaneous X-Y controllers. Hope this helps. - Dennis Leas IP: Logged |
