![]() ![]() ![]() I'm working my way through the book and seem to have come across an anomaly- on p.144 it says that the method to replace a current input is to use the Control key and drag from the upper window to the Input parameter, but this does something different than the outcome shown on p.145. After some head scratching "Paste special' did the trick. Can I confirm that I'm correct in thinking that 'Paste special' has taken over this role in an update at some point? Thanks. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() When you ctrl+drag a Sound into a field, you are dragging that EXACT Sound into the field, rather than dragging a copy of the Sound. This is useful when you want to branches of the signal flow diagram to share the SAME input, for example. Copy and Paste Special also pastes the exact same Sound (rather than a copy of that Sound). ![]() ![]() ![]() Ah so I've just realized what therefore happened- I have been generally using the Apple 'command' key instead of 'control' and it works in most situations, but in this case it does not- you have to use the 'control' and drag version. IP: Logged |
