Hi Guys -

I've had my MotorMix now for a couple of days and it is fantastic! It's like an instrument in and of itself - too cool.

Now a couple of questions:

Why don't the Play and Stop buttons actually play and stop sound?

Is there a FAQ or something on making use of the other buttons within Kyma?

Thanks!

Mike

Not all of the buttons of the MotorMix are active in Kyma -- we hope to add more functions in the future. Page 42-43 of Kyma X Revealed! lists the buttons and controls of the MotorMix that are currently active.

A note about the transport control buttons: the MotorMixes from the first year or two of production had different labels for these buttons (they were generic -- something like F1-F5).

Thanks! I was hoping there was a little more on the MOtorMix documentation-wise. It's pretty transparent to use, which is good! I just thought if I could figure out how to map Play/Stop to actually playing and stopping sounds that would be goo, too.

Is it possible to use more than a single Motor Mix with Kyma? Has anyone tried this? I would love to find out...

Right now, Kyma can work with only one MotorMix.

Thanks for the information. Even a single Motor Mix with Kyma offers some serious inspiration. Makes me want to re-design all of my VSCs! Nice work, as always!
