![]() ![]() ![]() Good news everyone! So far X.82 runs all my sounds and it is much faster on may Mac Pro!... perfect. Only small glitches while using the "save as" function in the sample editor and the tau.. but i could not replicate them(maybe it was my system). The new documentation enabled me to build sounds with X.82 communicating via OSC to my old SuperCollider setup. Thumbs up! Anyway i have some small Kyma MIDI related questions. 1 - Is there a MIDI implementation chart available like it is now for OSC? 2 - I would like to know the controller message to save a snapshot with a generic MIDI CC Message ( i already figured out preset and VCS Layout up/down and roll the dice... but unfortunately i did not found anything about saving a snapshot. All the best from Berlin
I figured out that this is possible via the MIDIOutputEventInBytes Prototype by chaining the two CCs there.. [This message has been edited by ChristianSchloesser (edited 23 November 2011).] IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() If you use a TriggeredSoundToGlobalController to internally generate a program change of 130, you can generate the save preset. This way you could map an actual incoming cc number to the generated program change of 130. As you've already discovered, you can use cc 126 to select the previous preset, 127 to select the next preset, 128 to roll the dice. But when you go outside the normal MIDI range, you would have to generate it with a SoundToGlobalController as ProgramNumber: You can also send a master control: http://www.symbolicsound.com/cgi-bin/bin/view/How/SendMasterVolumeControl Regarding the 14-bit MIDI out, I think you have already found the best solution (MIDIOutputEventInBytes). Great to hear you have successfully hooked up the X.82 to your SuperCollider setup! IP: Logged |
