I've uploaded a Tool that interactively generates monophonic sequences based upon the statistics of the transitions in monophonic sequences that you play into it (or read into it from text files). Try reading the pentatonic.txt file to start out, then you can add serial.txt to the training sequence or play your own monophonic melodies from a keyboard, Continuum, or the eraser end of the Wacom pen. I am having some difficulty in getting your tool to work.... I am opening the KBDInputAndPlayback Sound and can play this using the continuum. I then try to open the liveInteractionMarkovKBDTool but get a message that says "The name, inputSourceString is undeclared...." Please could you post instructions on how to get the Tool up and running. (Apologies if the explanation is so simple I can't see it!) IP: Logged |

Sorry, that was a reference to an old variable that I had since deleted (it worked on my system because that variable was in Undeclared...but that's a long story). In any case, a working version is now available at the same URL. Thanks for finding and reporting the problem!! IP: Logged |
