StringMachinePlus.kym

Attached is a sound that does what those old string machines used to do , you know the ones we used before samples came out and we couldn't afford a mellotron. It could probably do with some twecking (maybe add some filters on the output to make he lower notes a bit more stringy), but it can also make some very weard sounds that is nothing at all like a string machine. Just try selecting preset "default 34" , leave it for half a minite and then select preset "default 35" , then 36. But if you want the string machine choose the "StringMachine" or "MANATA" presets, as a starting point.

Enjoy

Pete.

Thanks Pete!

In the interest of making Sound contributions easier for people to find in the future, we recommend that you upload Sounds and patches to the tweaky (http://www.symbolicsound.com/cgi-bin/bin/view/Share/Sounds) and put an announcement and link to them here. That way, new users have a chance of discovering your contributions in the future, long after this thread has disappeared from view. Thanks!!
