I have been enjoying this new range of sonic journeys a lot over the last few days - spent 3 days in the studio, and used the new CrossFilter fundtions with Turkish Oud and some manual and automated percussion (used Capy to control motors to play the percussion using Chaos scripts and MIDI controllers)

You can hear some of the outcomes here http://www.activatedspace.com/sounds/AcousticElectronic.html

Thanks to everyone involved, I have been wanting exactly this for some times - woww, CrossSynth? and Wacom - one happy bunny :-)

Hi Garth,

This sounds very interesting!
I love the Automative Percussion, which has a strong acoustic feeling.
Are there any chances to see you perfoming in Paris?

Best Regards,
Camille

Hey thanks - much appreciated. The Automated percussion is also driven via MIDI contollers run from Capy using Chaos scripts - tis fun :-)

A gig in paris would be fun too - send us an invite and we'll try and find some funds to come.

Kyma won't let me hot parametres into the ResponseDuration field of the cross filter prototype. I want to be able to adjust that value from the VCS. Any suggestions - I tried using a constant prototype as well. Does kyma need that value to be known?

thanks rafe

BTW really interesting sound

yes, the duration set upon compiling, much like the memorywriter sound. the standard work around is to set the maximum time and then use the end point to shorten as needed.

i must say, this is the first sound in a while that gives me serious DSP lust. 5 cards is nice, but....

After I posted the question it occurred to me that the sound functioned that way and to vary the end point.

Thanks
