![]() ![]() ![]() Hello Everybody, which Prototype does make use of this kind of Loop type? I found the option in the Sample Editor but it does not seam to work in the sample or multisample player prototype ... I think it would be great to actually have this option in all the sample players. Have a nice day [This message has been edited by ChristianSchloesser (edited 21 February 2013).] IP: Logged

![]() ![]() ![]() The Prototypes whose names start out with "Morph2dKeymapped..." use the back and forth looping. IP: Logged

I tried Morph2dKeymappedGA KBD and Morph2dKeymappedSampleCloud KBD but somehow i came up with strange results. In the Morph2dKeymappedSampleCloud if i choose Markers for Loopmode actually the Samplecloud stops at the first Marker (like sustain) and then continues on release to the Loop End marker... but actually does not "loop"...nor alternate loop bidirectional...
"... But how Do it change them? Does the GA analyses gets the Markers from the source spectrum file?
p.s.: I attached a small demo for the Morph2dKeymappedSampleCloud KBD ... the sample included has a loop with forward/backward looping. IP: Logged

![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks Chris! You uncovered a problem in the way the loop points are read from the header; this is now fixed in the next update (coming soon). Regarding the loop points in GA files, yes, when you add loop points to the Psi files, those are maintained in the spectrum files, and again when you make the GA files from the spectra. The easiest place to add the loop points is in the Psi editor: http://ssc-media.com/Movies/Tutorials/BatchHarmonicAnalysisTutorial.mov Loop points that you add in the Batch analysis process are being correctly interpreted for back and forth looping in the Morph2dKeymapped prototypes. Thanks for your help! IP: Logged

The attached Sounds are examples of how you can use a Smalltalk message sent to the name of the file to obtain a timeIndex that goes backward and forward between start and end loop. Also, Morph2dKeymappedSampleCloud will, in version X.87f, correctly read the loop points stored in your sample. IP: Logged |
