BardetSamy Member	posted 03 September 2010 08:06 Hi, I want to use my Cabybara as Audio I/O for my Pacarana... What is the best way to succeed because i've got some problemes ? First, when i connect the Capy ( flame ) to my computer alone in firewire , all works fine. The same with the Pacarana with a motu card. So to use the Capy as I/O i connect the flame to the computer and i connect the Pacarana to the flame... when i start Kyma it doesn't ask me to choose between Capy or Paca it's started automatically with the Capy ? So i try to in the Dsp menu to choose the Pacarana but it doesn't appear ??? The Pacarana indicate " Host computer connected ", it's weird.... i thought about a conflict with the motu card, i disconnecte the motu it doesn't work... i've also changed the firewire cable... What's wrong with my configuration ? Any idea ? rafe Member	posted 05 September 2010 11:56 I had similar issues when trying to connect the paca to the flame and i have had a more stable setup by connecting the paca and the capy /flame to the internal fw buss of the mac. so i have fw 800 directly to the paca and the fw400 directly to the flame and all is well. I have my audio interface, a fireface 800 (which is not supported for the paca) running on a separate pcie fw card.
