There's an interesting discussion going on at pphilosophyofsound.ning.com about early sound memories. When people recall their earliest sonic memories, it often seems to be associated with a place and have a visual component too.

If you recall an early sonic memory, please log in and join the discussion. It would be interesting to hear what it is (sonically) that people remember from childhood.
