The other day, I saw a freind messing about with a delay sequencer he built. Are there any examples of this in the kyma library?

Do you want to sequence through a series of different delay values? In other words, do you want your delay time to change on each step of the sequence? Or do you want a sequencer that feeds into a delay?

-->randomly (SMOOTH!!!!) changing delaytimes, and therefore also pitch shifting.

Here's an idea for how to do it (see attached Sounds). I took a DelayWithFeedback Sound and put an array of values into the Delay field. Then I used 1 bpm: !BPM to generate triggers from a metronome. Then I used countTriggersMod: <sizeOfArray> to sequence through the values in the array--a new value on each beat of the metronome.

I turned off smoothing in the DelayWithFeedback to avoid the pitch shifting (except in the ones called 'wild' and 'mad'). If you like the pitch change effect, just click the Smooth delay changes box.

(Mac users: remember to import this file before it will show up as a Kyma sound file).
