hi. has enybody done a 512 band graphic EQ style filter with an FFT object yet.
would like to do it by myself but i donīt have a glue how to access the 512 bands separately band.
any pointers welcome:-)

You could take a look at Kyma Sound Library/Effects/Spectral processing live/ at the Sounds called Pseudo bandpass or Spectral bells to see an example of how you could pick off one band from a 512 long FFT.

hm. so in order to have 256 band i would have to employ this amount of delays?

is there a possibility to multiply some 512 samples long wavetables with the fft analysis to achieve this more easy?

You could replace the pulse generator with an oscillator whose wavetable has the spectral shape of the filter you desire. The delay would still be useful for moving center frequency of the spectral shape.
