Hi Guys,

Sorry if this is a basic question but I don;t seem to be able to work out the answer.

If it possible to set up the timeline for different FX sounds on each track processing different audio inputs and have these run constantly without the timeline playing?

Or is there a better way to accomplish this?

Cheers

Andy

Use a "WaitUntil" Sound in a parallel track to stop the Timeline cursor over the Sounds your want to play.

You can lay out several regions with different effects this way, and use MIDI program messages to jump from one effect to another.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for that.

So as long as the timeline is stopped over the sounds then they will play even though the timeline is not playing?

Cheers

Andy

The timeline is 'playing' when halted by a waitUntil it's just not moving forward in time.

time remaining to complete something is inversely proportional to the time invested into doing it
