I'm thinking I need my own Oscillatorbank design, using the Replicator to build a bank out of , say, XenOsc or other oscillators that can be individually modulated... I would want to control the frequencies, amps and spread of the Oscillators using Spectra , and Spectral Modifier ... any thoughts on how to do this?

AdditiveSynthwithReplicator.kym

Key is to use a SpectrumTrackSelector with the track parameter set to ?VoiceNumber. Then paste this into the Amplitude and Frequency fields of the Oscillator you want to replicate (take the left (L) channel for amplitude and right (R) channel for frequency, and multiply the frequency by half the sample rate).

The attachment shows an example using an FM oscillator and a XenOscillator. (Note that this can get pretty DSP-intensive).

Now we're talking!!

This opens up possibilities to use wonderful oscillators, to delay , filter, distort the waveform of each resynthesised track

Already getting some really interesting sounds

Hey DC, your video example was great! (what software did you use for screen capture? It worked really well!)

thanks! i used an app called 'snapz pro' from ambrosia software (http://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/snapzprox/). i recorded the capy's aes output into logic, then did a simple merge of the two with quicktime pro.

i should make more
