![]() ![]() ![]() Is there a program that will hack apart a Kurzweil K2000 program and extract the multisamples and keymapping in a form usable by Kyma? For any other sample player? Bonus question: is there a Sound like Multisample that takes a file describing the samples and key mappings, so that changing samples doesn't require typing in code?

![]() ![]() ![]() http://www.cdxtract.com/cdxmac.htm maybe this does the conversion at least to aiff. IMHO the "sampler" part in kyma is a little bit thin. although it would offer us some nice possibilities. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() That looks interesting. I'm Mac-based (so is my studio) and it looks like I'll have to wait a bit for this. Thanks. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() That's a good point. I think I purposely forget that I have a PC here too. It's still not clear to me what they do with the key mapping information when they extract the samples to aiff format. I think the format info is available somewhere. I may have to write my own.
