HarmonicReverb.kym

This is an old Sound - a variation of your Harmonic Reverb that I made around 3-4 years ago. This used to compile and run on my system.

Since that time I added a DSP card, and Kyma has undergone many revisions, and now when I compile this Sound, I get the dreaded "out of real time" message.

I have 9 DSPs, and 1-3 show no activity. I have several other Sounds that use Resonators and Scripts like this, and I have problems with all of them. I am certain these used to run properly because I used them on projects.

HarmonicReverbprovisional.kym

Looking into why it is scheduling differently. It appears to be trying to put too many HarmonicResonators on each processor. Here's a provisional workaround. I increased the apparent cost of each resonator by adding a LowPassFilter onto the end of it. This improves the scheduling (and gives you another parameter too!)

I have had similar problem in recent times with timelines that played fine on a 4 processor machine, running out of realtime on a 12 processor machine. I have been unable to work out why these patches were ROORT - this seemed to happen only after the last update in July.

Yes, I had a Timeline go ROORT (I love that acronym!) after the last update as well. I performed with it last night and had to use an older version of Kyma.
