![]() ![]() ![]() I am just curious. When I play a Sample-Sound and activate FromMemoryWriter -without a memory-writer installed- the playback-rate apparently changes. What happens exactly ? Best wishes PIeter IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() When the Sample has fromMemoryWriter checked, it plays back at the currently selected sample rate for the whole system. My guess is that the sample file you are reading has a different internal sample rate stored in its header and that when you switch to fromMemoryWriter, it happens to read the memory where that sample file is stored in RAM, but it reads it at the SR of the whole system which happens to be different than that of your sample. In any event, it is sort of "undefined" what happens when you say that the Sample should read from memory written by the MemoryWriter when there is no MemoryWriter (so it's not a recommended mode IP: Logged |
