![]() ![]() ![]() Iz seems zo me that Kyma is less stable on XP. Since I switched from MAc to XP (SP3) Kyma freezes randomly. It seems to happen when I have ignored Kma for some time. (I couldn't notice a fixed time, sometimes after a few minutes sometimes much later). I have no energy-saving activated and no screensaver. Has anyone else noticed unstability on Win XP? Best wishes Pieter IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Pieter, just out of curiosity, do you generally leave your Sound Browser fully expanded (lots of directories open, meaning that lots of Sounds and samples have been moved into RAM on the computer)? If so, could you please try closing the subdirectories in the Sound Browser to see whether there is an improvement? Thanks. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I've used numerous PCs over the years with Kyma and have discovered varying degrees of stability, which I put down to how each PC copes with its own FireWire port. My favourite at the moment is an Acer TravelMate 370 which seems to me to be very stable. IP: Logged |
