It seems that the AR and ADSR sounds set to exponential shape never stop. Is this a bug and is there a workaround beside using linear shape?

You're right; the AR exponential does not actually reach zero. Here is a workaround that might help. The idea of the example is to multiply the exponential AR by a linear AR. Both ARs share the same trigger. The linear AR has a 1 sample attack and a decay time that is one sample longer than the exponential's decay.

That should leave your exponential attack and decay shapes intact while adding a quickly sloping linear decay to zero following each exponential decay.
