Author | Topic: Wacom Bamboo compatibility with M-Audio 2626 |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hello, a new user here, loving every second of it and hoping I'm meeting all aspects of protocol with my first post. I've been using the Wacom Bamboo with a Behringer UCA202 USB audio interface with great success. This allows me to use headphones or small powered speakers late at night so I don't wake up the family at unearthly hours, with unearthly sounds, while I am learning how to use this incredible system. However I it seems that at the weekend, when I want to enjoy the true magnificence of sound through the mixing desk, and I use the Wacom with my M-Audio FW 2626 audio, Kyma becomes unstable and unresponsive and unusable. If I remove the Wacom Bamboo stability returns to Kyma operation. It seems to me that this configuration is incompatible. Reverting to the not so impressive configuration of Wacom Bamboo with Behringer UCA202 immediately returns full performance to Kyma and the Pacarana. The Wacom Bamboo is using the latest drivers 5.4.2-2 (stating compatibility with OS X 10.7), I'm using OS X 10.7.1 with no drivers installed for the FW 2626. Any thoughts or comments? Thanks in anticipation and once again hope the post is suitably Composed constructed. Mark IP: Logged |
