![]() ![]() ![]() I noticed that when I stop playing the "SwarmKBD" prototype, there is some residual activity showing on my DSP usage meters. (The next to the last one doesn't drop to zero.) If I place a MIDIVoice after the SwarmKDB, I find that I can only get the polyphony up to eight. Of my 8 DSPs, the last three are maxed-out, and #5 has some activity. Numbers 1-4 are not used. When I stop this sound, there is still activity showing on the meters for DSPs 6 and 7. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Yes, the swarm real-time expression is quite expensive and could easily eat up many DSP cycles if there are many of them. When you stop the Sound from playing, the Capybara does not (yet) stop all of the real-time expressions from being evaluated, so that is why you still see DSP usage even after you have stopped the Sound.
