![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Andy, Do you see Prototypes Reference.pdf and Kyma X Revealed.pdf in the Documentation folder inside your Kyma folder? (These should be part of the initial installation from the CD-ROM). It uses Acrobat Reader to open these pdf files (do you have that installed?) You can get a copy of Adobe Reader here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/ Thanks! [This message has been edited by SSC (edited 27 May 2009).] IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Prototypes Reference.pdf and Kyma X Revealed.pdf were missing from my Kyma folder too. I have found Prototypes Reference.pdf in the tweaky, is there a download link for Kyma X Revealed.pdf too? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() BTW, is there any way to set Preview (rather than Adobe) as the default application for the help PDFs? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Well they do for me already! Find the pdf files in Finder, right click and choose Open With->Other Select preview and tick 'Always Open With" at the bottom then click Open. From now on preview will open them. Cheers Andy IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks, Andy. I'd done that already and it works fine when I open the help files directly. For some reason though, when I open them from the Kyma Help menu, they always default to Acrobat. Hmmm.... IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Ah that may be why mine don't even open from Kyma then. Looks like SS may be execing acrobat reader rather then rather than opening the file directly and letting the OS deal with it. I haven't got Acrobat Reader installed so that may be why mine wont open from the menu. Well its a theory Andy IP: Logged |
