Author | Topic: Error on opening Kyma after loading Petes microsounds |
Filament Member |
![]() ![]() ![]() I tried to load Petes microsounds via file/choose microsounds. I closed Kyma and opened it up again. The message "Please wait while your capybara is initialised" appeared and an error box appeared below. !Error: The value 4 was used to index LongWordArray(), an instance of class LongWordArray. This index was out of bounds for this object. I deleted kyma from the C drive and reloaded it from disc hoping this would solve the problem, but it still happens. Any ideas please? ![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Miles, We tried it here and were not able to get the same error so there must be something different between our setups. Could you please turn on Stack Traces and, when you get the error, do a stack trace and copy the error text and send it to us via email? To turn on stack traces, Edit>Preferences, then click Miscellaneous, then change Stack Traces to Allowed. Thanks! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Miles You are saying that you only get the error when you've done choose microsounds not every time you tried to boot kyma after that? When you choose microsounds you need to point to the file UserMicrosoundClasses.asy which you get by unzipping the UserCode.zip, not PetesDSPModules. PetesDSPModules hope it helps Pete IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks SSC, but I think I have corrected it. I deleted the microsounds from my PC and I reloaded kyma and it seems to have worked. So I am not getting the error now. I'll try and load the microsounds again another night and I'll let you know if I get the same error. Its probably just me. Best Regards, Miles

![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks Pete. I think I did point to the file UserMicrosoundClasses.asy. I'll try again another night when I'm note up so late. I'll come back to this post if I get any more problems Thanks again. Regards, Miles
