I've been struggling with a simple solution to a simple sequencer retrig for a while now..

basically , I have a sequencer running looping around an 8 pitch array.

i am warping the index , allowing for loops of 3s or 5s or whatever instead of straight 8s.

then I want to unwarp the sequencer, and retrig it to sync itself back on the start of the 1 bar.

In the Sequencer gate I've tried

((!BassReset hasChangedInLast: 50 ms) alignWith: (1 bpm: (!BPM / 4))) trackAndHold: 1

and the likes, but I just can't get the sequencer to reset/retrig itself when I press the !BassReset momentary switch.

whats the simplest way to re-trig a sequencer so it is back on the first beat of the bar?
