Hola-

I am constructing a timeline for live playback and I have run into a few little quirks. Using TriggeredSoundToGlobalContoller, I have set up 12 instances of !Gate(1-12) in Trigger, !ProgramNumber in GeneratedEvent, and integers 1-12 in Value. In the timeline VCS, all of the !Gate instances have been rendered as button (fill). MIDI channels are set to 16 with nothing else on them.

1- each button has to be pressed in its white state to jump to its marker. This is no biggie.

2- I had to change the 1st locate point at 0s to 5s in order for it to jump to that marker. Worked around.

3- every time I complie and play, it jumps to marker 11.

Number 3 is racking my brain. I don't understand why it would do anything other than start at the beginning... help.

Thanks.

I wonder if one of the buttons is initially ON by default? Try editing the VCS, select all the button-fills, and set the grid to 1. This will prevent the triggers from taking on a value of, say, 0.5 which would look like ON.

If that doesn't fix the problem, please send us the Timeline by email so we can take a look. Thanks!

You called it.

Changed the grid to 1, set the faders to 0, realized that white is the off position.

Thanks!

OK, great!

BTW, if you would like to change the colors of the buttons on/off positions to something other than white, for example, unlock the VCS, select the Buttons, then under Options... you can select a different On color and Off color.
