Author | Topic: Installing Kyma on the new Mac Mini |

![]() ![]() ![]() I have been considering getting one of the new Mac Minis to run Kyma on, but considering they don't have an optical drive to install from, how would this be done? Cound I extract the files I need on a PC to a USB stick and install from there or would I need to get an external CD/DVD drive to install from directly? From here it looks like Apple is phasing out optical drives as standard so I'm sure this question will come up again. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Yes, you could copy the CD onto a USB thumb drive and use that in place of the CD. IP: Logged |
