Hi

I was doing some genreal Kyma leraning time today, going through old files and examples...

Looking at the X45 EXAMPLES I was intrigued to see a few new capytalk commands related to BPM ... I'm always having with sequencers and BPMs etc.. )

I can't find anywhere on the Twiki any details about closestBPMTo: forBeats:

can someone point me to the a page where they are documented?

and if not shouldn't new CapyTalk commands be documented at the TwIki at least http://www.symbolicsound.com/cgi-bin/bin/view/Learn/CapyTalkExpressions

this page doesn't seem to cover all the additional commandssince the book was published...

SSC, please can you update this page?

thanks

We are currently working on a revision of Kyma X Revealed that documents all of these new expressions and we will post a quick reference on the tweaky when it is completed.

But, for now, there is documentation about the new expressions in the release notes found on the software download page: http://www.symbolicsound.com/cgi-bin/bin/view/Know/KymaXDownloads. (Log in to the tweaky first before following this link.)

This page documents all of the changes to Kyma X since its initial release and includes information that is not found in Kyma X Revealed.

If you scroll to the notes for Kyma X.45, you will find the documentation for this particular expression.

For some reason this direct link doesn't work for me.

If you go to http://www.symbolicsound.com/cgi-bin/bin/view/Know/KymaXUpdates instead and click on "Download the latest release...." then it works fine.

Cheers

Andy

Also, to see a pop-up list of all CapyTalk expressions when you are in any Kyma parameter field, use ctrl+shift+h. If you select one of the expressions, it gets pasted into the parameter field where you can add arguments etc.

Hello SSC, when you're printing new manuals, would you please include enough extras so old Luddites who love paper things can buy one to read in bed?
