Using the sound (see GenericSourceStereoDisk looping? topic in 'Kyma Support') I used the control data output from Kyma to visualise some music (e.g. bass energy around 121 Hz / brightness etc) Here's the clip: Just another aspect of Kyma which makes me so pleased to have invested in it - there aren't many devices in my studio setup which have been so reliable, useful and inspiring as Kyma/Capy! This should be projected on a full-sized screen with surround sound for a fully immersive experience! Was everything derived from the NASA images? IP: Logged |

I should do that! I only have a stereo speaker set-up though but would like to explore surround mixing at some point. Yes, the images are derived from the nasa images - they are processed in the Rutt Etra 2.0 Quartz Composer plugin Parameters such as Element Size, Element Count, Extrude amount and Colour are controlled by the data derived from the music.
