Just recently i went through a lot of sounds in the Kyma sound library, many of them very familiar to me from several years of Capybara usage. I couldn't help noticing how much the sound quality improved over the old DSP's. Everything sounds much smoother and cleaner. And bigger.
That's really great, hat's off! I'm so glad I bought a new Paca and not a used Capy.

Yes, I agree, many things sound better. I notice it most on the TAU stuff.

Hi Pete, yes, I'm finally back! :-)
I was so busy learning about the orchestra and other acoustic music that I decided to sell my Kyma, because I needed money. Now I'm back again with double the fun!

What are you up these days?

Hi,
I'm just curious of the sound improvements are specific to the Paca(rana) or if the Capybara 320 benefits, as well.
Thanks!

We made a lot of improvements when we re-wrote all of the sound-generation code to run on the Paca(rana). The faster hardware, longer word-length, & additional memory (and faster memory access) allowed us to do some things we could not do on the Capybara.

I love to hear some audio examples of an A-B comparison! Could you put some soundbites online so I can listen how it sounds?

Being new to Kyma. My first impression was that everything I played sounded like a finished recording. Excellent sound quality.

Hello Cebec I am looking to buy a Serge again :-)
