![]() ![]() ![]() hi guys, okay I got every detail covered about recording expressions and fader movements in the Timeline, but havent crossed a way to record kbd playing PS:it would also be nice to sync kyma with native DAW sequencer (ableton in my case) so that the timeline starts at play. The timecode MIDI or smtpe functions dont listen to what I order them!! regards Andraz IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() The Kyma timeline does not record MIDI note events (just MIDI continuous controllers). (Since you have a DAW, you could probably record the MIDI note events in the DAW sequencer?) Does Live output MIDI Time Code? If so then you can control the Kyma timeline (change it from Free Running to TimeCode, press the space bar to start, then control the yellow cursor with incoming Timecode). Another little trick for starting the Kyma timeline from your sequencer would be to put a WaitUntil at the beginning of the Kyma timeline. Set the Resume trigger to !KeyDown. Set the MIDI channel of the WaitUntil's track to a channel that you are not using. In your sequencer, output a keydown on that track at the beginning of your sequence. That way, everytime you start that sequencer, it will also trigger the start of your Timeline. IP: Logged |
