![]() ![]() ![]() Yep, the image is there. The one of the face is anyway; the others I presume are there but I haven't checked out firsthand. Metasynth is one of the few Mac programs that I -- being a humble PC user -- still envy in a serious way after having gotten my Kyma system. There's a little shareware hack called "Coagula" that runs under Windows and will let you do something similar, but it only works in one direction (image -> sound, but not the reverse) and is not nearly as full featured. It's here: http://hem.passagen.se/rasmuse/Coagula.htm There's also a shareware granular synthesis hack called Granulab which I used to play with before there was Kyma in my life. Heh.. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, for sound to image conversion and back again try here: Freeware prog, can be a bit unstable when using higher block sizes, so beware. Nice to use in combination with Coagula and any other images or sounds you like. Just dont expect sonically accurate results. Matt IP: Logged |
