![]() ![]() ![]() i tried to mod some basic waves (single period) As i was stunned by the way the data was transformed using any type of processing,so i tried to timestrech and got amazing shapes as results. I tried sound maker, peak, metasynth, spark,TimeBandit AND soundhack either with a phase vocoding module or a "timestretch" labeled module .I finally had a good laugh with those waves i got and i have to notice that the errors were exponentially inverse to the size of data processed; meaning i had to replicate the wave many times, process and extract one single period to get acceptable results. How do you people work with that sort of data? well,I have to add with shame that, as a newbie, i realise i didnt try the Kyma sound editor to do that! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Do you want the single cycle to last longer? If so, then you could play it in an Oscillator and change the frequency... If you want the single cycle to have more samples in it, then you could use the Sample editor template called Interpolate Selection. That lets you stretch it to any number of samples with perfect interpolation. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() thanks a lot i will definitely try to use the editor in Kyma. I only tried stretching to check for the processing errors that would result in any kind of audio processing. In any case, i was originally trying to build a set of some single period custom waves. IP: Logged |
