![]() ![]() ![]() there might be no solution, but it helps to talk about. one hour before the beginning of my life performance yesterday one of my signal outputs started to humm and distorted the outcoming signal. i started to sweat, restarted everything, checked cables, phantom power, and cursed a lot ..., then i gave up and decided to use just 3 outputs. (this hurts when you are to perform with 32 speakers and you want to have your sounds panned in interseting ways...) anyway, 10 minutes before the show the output worked again properly without any changes made.... does someone have similar experiences or is there idea of what could have caused this error (and eliminated it) ? or do i have to life with this random factor ? thanks m IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Was the hum frequency about 50 Hz? Even if you made no changes yourself, perhaps something else on stage had changed. Were your outputs going into a mixing desk? Maybe someone else was changing settings on the desk? (Speaking of mixing desks, it probably couldn't hurt to remind everyone that you should never route your Capybara outputs to mixing strips that have phantom power switched on. Phantom power can permanently damage your Capybara's high-quality DA converters) IP: Logged |
