I can't find any sounds called SamplesToDisk... ? This sounds like it would be an interesting one for me to explore. Also, I might be mistaken but the ModalFilter: Envelope parameter field can read at sample rate. IP: Logged

Thanks, Rob, you're right about the ModalFilter Envelope field. Also on the list: And a correction: Level Left, Right are not evaluated at the sample rate; however, they are interpolated at the sample rate, so there is a new linearly interpolated value on every sample (to eliminating zipper noise). The SamplesToDisk may be called DiskRecorder in the release version (some of the modules have different internal names before we rename them to make more sense in the user interface). OOhh SSC With the Level left/right module, does it mean that if you put a constant with DC value one as it's input , the module can be used as a join the dots type capytalk to sample rate convertor for any formula you put in the hot parameter? Could be better than simply smoothing at sample rate. Encapsulating it would make a nice module in it's own right. Pete IP: Logged

heres a patch that applies the smoothing to the even and odd harmonics independently. ciao, johannes IP: Logged

Adjusting the feedback parameter to control the level of smoothing was something I was always unhappy with. Until you reach about 0.8 there’s not too much happening, but then a very small change makes a huge difference. Luckily I found a way to control the number of frames the smoothing will be applied ![]() ((!Thrsh twoLog) / !NbrFrames) twoExp See the tutorial here http://www.kymaguy.com/smoothing-a-certain-number-of-frames/ or just use it And the other expression could be something for the expression library: [This message has been edited by gustl (edited 29 December 2014).] IP: Logged
