![]() ![]() ![]() Just wondering if it is possible to have a global smooth value for preset changes, weather made using Motormix, GUI or prog. chnages over MIDI - I have a performance setup where I use a combination of preset changes and direct control of parameters, and I would really like to have a global smooth value which could be set between 500ms and 2 s - is there anyway I can do this other than enter smooth for every parameter, which is a bit tedious? Thanks IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry but the only solution for now is to use smoothed or smooth: on each parameter. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() OK - thanks. Seems to me it would be great to have this as an options - in the preferences for the MotorMix perhaps, but then I guess you mighyt want it sometimes and not in other patches, so perhaps it should be a patch based option. I for one would find it particuarly useful to be able to have a 300 - 600 ms smooth on all variables. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() At the risk of entering a "feedback loop", I'd like to push a related request one more time, being able to variably "smooth" between differing presets on the VCS. Now I know I can set up a variable smoothing expression on each hot parameter, and save that setting as part of a preset. But when I'm in another preset, that doesn't allow me to choose a rate to smooth into the new preset unless I save numerous versions of the preset with varying smooth settings. What I imagined is 2 VCS preset lists, with a slider between them. The slider controls "morphing" between the two presets. This could be also controlled as a hot variable or automated in the timeline. I'm sure Symbolic could think of better ways to implement this, what I'm looking for is the ability to smoothly fade between different preset data sets in an improvisational manner. Looking forward to X Best- Mark IP: Logged |
