![]() ![]() ![]() Is it possible to route midi clock via osculator into the paca via firewire? I cannot get midi clock out of osculator to the paca. The only solution I have found is to use the raw midi mode in osculator and I haven't got that working correctly. Alternatively can it be done via the network module in the audio midi setup on a mac. I cannot get the paca to connect to that port. I get an error message that the paca does not respond to the network request. i've searched here and the twiki but havent found a solution. ![]() ![]() ![]() You should be able to use either OSCulator's raw MIDI or Delora Software's PacaMidi to route the MIDI output from your sequencer program (which is outputting the clock) to the Pacarana via OSC. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hello I am having problems with the paca and the networking protocols. I have tried it connected to two different machines, and two different cables and network setups. Camille had a look at my document (osculator) because two days after i solved the initial setup problem- osculator suddenly would not see the paca again. I have reread the setup instructions on the twiki and Douglas's networking pages on the Delora site. I have downloaded bonjour browser which does not list the paca and the paca shows ,since getting the configuration sorted, an unassignede ip address and subnet mask. my network configurations are studio: laptop: connected to wireless port on router. any suggestions? both machines are 10.5.8 thanks rafe BTW the ethernet 2 port shows not connected message when paca and kyma have booted. i also tried connecting the paca to the router as an alternate setup but it still has an unassigned Ip address. ![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Rafe, We think that the Ethernet 1 and Ethernet 2 ports are on different networks (that is, they are not connected via hardware inside the Macintosh). It might be possible to find some software that will bridge the two networks, but you may find it simpler to use an external Ethernet hub and connect the Internet, Macintosh Ehternet 1 port, and Paca(rana) to each other via this hub.
