I want to install Kyma on my portable but I can't find the installation CD. I have read that updating without an original installation is not possible... ¿Can I just download the files anywhere?

It is indeed impossible. You will need the original Installation CD or you will have to make a copy of your working Kyma installation folder and use that.

If you don't have a working Kyma installation folder, you'll need to purchase a new Installation CD from Symbolic Sound.

Thanks! I have a full Kyma installation on my desktop computer. Thanks for the tip. I will also keep a backup somewhere now that I know the risk of losing the only way to install the Kyma software!

Maybe there should be a way to download a full installer other than sending bytes by post in an optical medium.
