![]() ![]() ![]() Hello! A brand new Kyma user here. I'm working my way through the manual as we speak but I've got a question which I can't find the answer for (forgive me if it is actually in the manual!). When I load a Sound in Kyma I'm able to mess with it and save new presets without any problems. However, when I load a Sound and then click the connection button at the top right of the browser so I can have another input playing into that sound (say my drum machine attached to Kyma's inputs), I am then not able to save presets while changing settings in the VCS. I click on the snapshot button but no little window comes up asking me for a new name for the preset. Should this be the case or am I missing something? If I disconnect the connection button them I am able to save presets again. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() To save the presets, create a new Sound file window (ctrl+N) and drag the Sound from the Sound Browser into this new window. This makes a copy of the new Sound and you can save this new Sound and its presets. (When you set a replaceable input source in the Sound Browser, Kyma creates a temporary Sound so you can hear your new source through the selected Sound. Since it is temporary, it is not possible to save presets with it.) IP: Logged |
