![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, I just noticed this: If I call up MIDIVoice exactly as it is in the prototypes bar and set the source to either MidiFile or Script, any wacom tablet global expressions I write (eg !PenDown, !PenX) to the left of the MIDIVoice don't show up in the VCS or seem to work. If I leave the expression to MIDIInput everything works as expected. I can get around it by manually choosing the pen to control an ordinary hot parameter in the VCS, or assign the pen parameter (!PenDown, !PenX) to some other global controller somewhere else in the sound (just not to the left of the MIDIVoice), and then using that global controller behind the MIDIVoice. Why is this? thanks, IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() The reason is that each set of Pen variables is associated with a single MIDI Channel (Pen1 to channel1, Pen2 to channel2, etc). So the MIDIVoice is assumed to have bound all those variables (just as it is assumed to have bound KeyDown, KeyPitch, etc). IP: Logged |
