![]() ![]() ![]() Dear SSC, I think I have already asked for this feature a while ago but I don't remember if you gave me a straight answer. Kyma is a nice application to use, but it would be so much better with some little usability improvements. One of them for example is the ability to use left and right arrows in the Sound Browser in order to open or close a folder. Every application on Windows and Mac OS work this way, and it would allow the use to browse the sound library without having to use the mouse, which is a real pain when you have to go back and forth between the computer keyboard and the mouse. Another addition of value to me is when you hit the Space bar to play a sound from the Sound Browser. The VCS is activated and made as the key window (the currently active window). That prevents the user from choosing another sound from the Sound Browser, unless you take the mouse again, click in the sound browser and start another sound. An alternative to that would be to close the VCS when the Space bar is pressed again (or any event that stops the sound from running). Thanks Kurt and Carla to take these little suggestions into consideration.

![]() ![]() ![]() The next update includes right arrow to open a folder or folder-like entry (like a Sound file) and left arrow to close a folder (in the Sound Browser). IP: Logged |
