Does anybody have an idea of how I could extract the peak frequencies and (normalised) amplitudes from an RE file?
I'm looking at getting pairs of data as CSV. I guess this would require a new Tool?

Any input appreciated.

Cheers Denis

No idea I am afraid, I did have a rummage around to see if a moment of genius would be bestowed upon me.

Not today.

In other news, myself and students where having a journey though NI.Absynth!

We found some Denis patches! They are awesome! I was after an effect patch to demonstrate side chain vs insert processing. You did the whole bank!
You must have invested a decent amount time! Splendid!

Charlie :-)

Hehe, yes, that's true, I've done FX patches for all Absynth versions since v3. The 40 or so for Absynth 4 took me about two weeks to make IIRC. Glad to hear you like them!

I actually do a lot of FX work for NI, their Reflektor, Traktor's 12 feature about 20-30 of my patches each, Deep Transformations about 40 and the Deep Reconstructions and Deep Freq packs are entirely of my making. If you like my Absynth work, do check out the latter two, there's some really nice stuff in there. They are sound packs that load into the free KORE player or KORE 2 and use the Absynth 4/5, Guitar Rig 3/4 and Reaktor 5 engines (with custom ensembles), quite often all of them at the same time ;-)
