![]() ![]() ![]() The delectable OutputLevel tool has brought up another issue I have at gigs. The control over the sub-bass is oftern problematic with the number and kind of subs unknown and setups that are oftern splitting the mid range speaker sends and using an inbuilt cross-over in the sub (such as the Mackie system). So some times I find I have way too much bass energy for a system with a number of subs, when it works fine at home and on other systems.... So sometimes in the pat I have placed a High Pass filter on each of the tracks in the timeline (a bit time consuming in sound check) to reduce the low frequency energy to suit the room. I have wondered in the past if a master high pass filter might be available - a way of addressing the outputs (in my case 4) rather than having to address every sound file in the timeline?? ![]() ![]() ![]() We used to have an output EQ control on the Capybara-33 and 66 motherboards (there was dedicated hardware on those motherboards to perform filtering for oversampling the output D/As), but the Capybara-320 motherboards do not have this hardware. We will look into the possibility of adding this to the timeline in the future, but for the time being, you could accomplish the same thing by routing your tracks via submixes to EQ tracks.
