![]() ![]() ![]() I am looking for an example of *transmitting* MTC from Kyma. I assume one uses the MIDIOutputEventInBytes Sound. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() MIDIOutputEventInBytes does not have a hot parameter field, so I don't think you can send anything triggered or periodic like MIDI Time Code. What is the problem you are trying to solve? (perhaps there is an alternative solution apart from MTC?) IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I want Kyma to be the master clock and send MTC to a MIDI slave. Clearly, the MIDIOutputEventInBytes needs to have a trigger parameter, that would make this easy to do. Better still, why not have an MTC prototype? [This message has been edited by Bill Meadows (edited 20 July 2003).] IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() In the meantime, perhaps you could synch by having Kyma send a KeyDown at the start of each bar (on a MIDI channel not used for anything else). IP: Logged |
