![]() ![]() ![]() I know it's a long shot but might it ever be possible to run Kyma without the audio dsp simply for debugging and trying out new scripts etc? I am often between the studio, home and traveling. I also do a lot of work with max interfacing with Kyma. Many times I have only my laptop with me. Even though the Pacarana is portable, the amount of peripherals I still need is kind of cumbersome to lug around every day. Much of this time could be spent trying new scripts, patches from max etc. without necessarily having audio/dsp support. Any thoughts? ![]() ![]() ![]() I know this is not an answer to your question but regarding peripherals, you might try using a USB headset as your audio I/O for the portable setup. It gives you stereo audio outputs and a microphone input so you can do a lot with a very small portable package. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() That was possible with the Capybara, wasn't it? I remember I could open Kyma without the Capy attached, when compiling and loading the sound it would crash though. With the Paca I can't even open Kyma. I would also like to have this option brought back, if possible. IP: Logged |
