I thought it would be a solved in the last update but i doesn t get it to work..

Is their any other way to use CCs with the Pacarana and PacaMIDI?

all the best
Chris

p.s. with osculator it works with the "interpreted" mode but it is lot of stuff to configure with my setup...

Hi Christian,

Is is possible that you have MotorMix mode selected in the Kyma Preferences? (If so, then you would be losing all the channel 1 controls)

Thank you. Now it works. Perfect!
I was still trying on Channel one. If i disable the MMix it works on Channel 1.

So i will reconfigure all my timelines/sounds to use channel 2 and above so i can use my Motormix and my BCR 2000.

I also was wondering if their is any way to use PolyPressure? What is the difference to KeyTimbre? Could i set up a mapping in my Global.map for it to replace KeyTimbre?

All the best and many Thanx
Chris

We should add Polypressure as something that you can remap KeyTimbre to.

So i understand that polypressure is not possible yet. It would be great to use polyPressure mapped to KeyTimbre. it would make really sense ... it is one of the most expressive features on my CS-80 and would be really great to use with all my FM,Tau or Additive Kyma Sounds(Instruments)...

all the best

Yes please.

I've wanted this as well and it makes perfect sense. Otherwise the continuum is the only instrument that can properly use KeyTimbre, unless I'm mistaken.

For example, I have an eigenharp and a manta that are both sending poly pressure and I'm sure others have poly aftertouch keyboards.

The Wacom pen (eraser end) also sends !KeyTimbre. You also can re-map any MIDI continuous controller to !KeyTimbre (using the DSP>Configure MIDI menu)

I guess I wasn't considering the waacom as an instrument. But obviously it could be.

As far as CCs are concerned. Isn't KeyTimbre meant to be a polyphonic per key parameter?

Is it expected this is used polyphonically through a multi-channel midi setup? Is this possible to used multiple midi channels in a polyphonic setup?

Even if this is possible, using a CC is very inconvienient as poly pressure seems to map perfectly to !KeyTimbre. Mapping a CC across multiple midi channels per key would take some heavy filtering and coding on the sending side.

There is already a mappable global pressure parameter which works in the non-polyphonic case.

I hope we can see poly pressure mappable to !KeyTimbre

I also hope we have the key events such as notes and KeyTimbre OSC mappable in the future.
