![]() ![]() ![]() Just discovered on http://www.flytap.com: * Miami to Porto (by way of Lisbon) $964.40 (roundtrip, taxes included) Another strategy: IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() quote: I'd recommend to avoid this strategy if you can help it. The Virgin Airlines part would probably be great but you'd have a shock by flying on to Porto via RyanAir. i.e. No seat reservations, no in-flight freebies (all extra) - you might even have to pay for using the loo!! (This was seriously considered recently by RyanAir and might already have been implemented.) IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() "* Take Virgin: LA to London for $925 RT & RyanAir from London to Porto for 34 euros (roundtrip)" I beleive RyanAir goes from london Stansted which is a long way from london Heathrow or Gatwick where Virgin travel to. Your probably better off with Easy jet for the last London Porto leg. Still a no frills Air line but not as bad as Ryan Air. Also look at this RyanAir link You may find RyanAir is not so cheap after all Pete IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() As said previously, the RyanAir flights go out of Stanstead which is a fair whack out of London. Easyjet departs from Gatwick which makes things a bit easier. I believe there are buses avaiable from Heathrow to Gatwick, or if you are in London, 30 mins on the train from London Bridge. I got mine for £75 return. Isnt it incredible how cheap it is to fly around the world now! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Here's an interesting possibility if you're in Austin or in Boston (hey that rhymes ![]() Austin--> London LHR for $610 (RT w/tax) Then take Tompty's suggested flight on EasyJet from Gatwick to Porto for 75 pounds RT Leave: Tue, Sep 13 on Continental Airlines 34 American, KLM, Continental, United, & others have flights out of Boston for the same price.
