i remember the various discussions about the requirements for SSC to do the work to integrate controllers. i tihnk this one may meet a number of them and would be a nice addtion to controller possibilities.

Novation announced a new controller which to quote has:
"As well as boasting the X/Y Touchpad, joystick, a total of 56 assignable pots, encoders, sliders and buttons and the “best-feeling keys on the market”, the SL also offers highly responsive trigger pads"

it also has an automap feature which software manufactures can incorporate and has LEDs to show controller name/value.

cost is around $400.
