I thought I'd pass this along to those of you with 8 I/O Capybaras. I picked up an Alesis AI4, US $399. Converts 4 AES ports to 8 channel ADAT lightpipe, with a seperate section that converts ADAT back to AES. It has 2 ADAT ports per section to handle Sample-Split, (aka S-Mux) so you can do 24 bit with sample rates to 105kHz. Externally clockable too.

Working great for me. I now have 8 sends and returns connecting Logic 6 or ProTools to Kyma via an RME Digiface. Perfect. Price was right too.

Thanx Randall

I've been looking for something to do just this for a long time.
