Author | Topic: Timeline VCS save bug |
Bill Meadows Member |
![]() ![]() ![]() I just discovered, after losing about an hour's worth of edits, that when you edit the VCS for a Timeline, after closing the VCS editor and "saving" the edits, you must also explicitly "save" the Timeline. That is, you can "save" VCS edits, but if you don't save the Timeline, the edits are lost. The problem is that the "dirty bit" (or whatever it is called) isn't set for the Timeline if the only change is to the VCS. Bottom line: you can close the Timeline without invoking the "Do you want to save changes?" dialog box, thus losing all VCS changes. This is a bug. (I'm pretty sure this works correctly when editing the VCS for a Sound.) IP: Logged |
